* I was born and raised in Lima, PerĂº. I am a 1st generation student, mother of 2, and MG warrior (battling a chronic disorder Myasthenia gravis since 2011).
** I am a Researcher working in collaboration with Linda Hinnov, in the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Earth Sciences at George Mason University, Timothy Herbert in the Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Science at Brown University, and with Harry Dowsett, leader of the PRISM group at the United States Geological Survey (USGS) in Reston, Virginia.
*** I use a variety of geochemical signals obtained from deep ocean sediments to investigate climatic and oceanographic change in the geologic past. I am mostly interested in understanding the mechanisms at play during past climate change, the potential use for multi-proxy approach to better understand paleoceanographic changes from cold to warm climate regimes, and lastly, I harbor great interest for improving chronological constraints for ocean sediment records.
