Welcome to my website
I am a paleoceanographer and paleoclimatologist. I use organic and inorganic chemistry along with micropaleontology, non-destructive core sampling methods, and time series analysis to reconstruct environmental and climate change in the geologic past in order to understand how different parts of the climate system respond and interact to create the picture left behind in the geological record.
In other words, I am a geo-detective, who looks at clues left behind in very old ocean mud. To read more about the science I produce and a bit of who I am, browse this website.
To learn more about Latinas in Earth and Planetary Sciences (GeoLatinas), the organization I recently co-founded: go to this site.
To learn more about the program I direct: The CycloCohort Program - an early-career springboard for inclusion, diversity, equity and justice focused leadership in geoscience & astronomy, go to this site.
